Dr.Lester James Peiris passes his 94th birthday,He is a
great creator of Sri Lankan films,he changed the Sri Lankan cinema to his own tradition.
Dr, lester directed lot of Sinhala films which are more
sensitive and rural stories of the Sri Lankan socials.
The first film of changed the story of cinema which is
film REKHAWA.This story is very beauty and all talk
about that film and got many rewards.
He is the oldest and most rewards holder in Sri Lanka.
Lester received many of International rewads for his
films.His wife is Sumithra Peiris is a director of Sri
Lankan cinema.She also rewarded creator of films.
